OVERVIEW
We supervised and executed the VFX for María Becerra’s music video Automático, overseeing the process from on-set supervision to final compositing to ensure seamless integration between practical footage and digital effects.

For the main action sequences, we performed a 3D scan of the hero car on set, which allowed us to accurately simulate the glass shattering and interact realistically with the live-action footage. We also built a detailed 3D model of the engine, used to create stylized animation shots that emphasize speed and mechanical power, reinforcing the visual narrative of the video.

Additional work included 2D compositing of fire, sparks, and debris, carefully integrated to enhance the intensity of the scenes while maintaining visual continuity and realism.

The project required close coordination between on-set supervision, 3D, FX, and compositing, resulting in a dynamic visual treatment that supports the fast-paced and high-energy tone of the video.
